Physical Activity...You Already Do It!

I bet you didn't even realize that half of the things you spend your day doing, are actually physical activity. Awareness is key to making this lifestyle change & it's honestly not even that difficult! It will even help you to lose those extra lbs that you keep complaining about ;)

  • Mopping the floors

  • Cleaning the shower/bathtub

  • Washing dishes

  • Finishing the laundry

  • Watering plants

  • Trimming shrubs

  • Raking leaves

  • Cleaning gutters

  • Clearing land

  • Walking the dogs

  • Vacuuming the Floors

  • Putting away groceries

  • Making the bed

  • Walking from your car to the store front

  • Walking up the stairs to your apartment

  • Clearing the snow off of your windshield

To decrease that number on the scale, you have to increase movement.

Even if you are not exercising, movement will expend those calories.


Start with moving more as you progress into an exercise program.

When you go to check the mail, turn it into a 10 minute walk!
