That's right. I'm talking to my SportbikeTrackTime friends.
This post is JUST FOR YOU.
I've encountered a lot of you who have restrictions in your range of motion. This pertains to your hips and your shoulders, I hear you guys complaining about knee aches and back aches as well.
Let me just help you. There are a couple of different things to consider:
Injury - Some of you experience this restriction from a former injury. If you are riding on the track I assume you have completed whatever rehabilitation you needed to treat said injury. The injury could have caused scar tissue which is limiting your range of motion - I would suggest seeing a massage therapist. On top of seeing that therapist, some stretching may be necessary to break up the tissue and increase your flexibility.
Exercise - Cardio & strength training would be very helpful to get you through the track day as well as getting you through the recovery stage from a long weekend.
