SMART Goals

I have found my goals to be most successfully reached when I go by these 5 criteria:

Specific

Measurable

Attainable

Reasonable

Timely

Give it a try.

Go grab a pen and paper, write your goal and let's see if we can keep it SMART.

Here is an example.

My goal is to lose five pounds within the next four weeks by exercising 30 minutes per day, at a moderate intensity, three to five days per week.


This is reasonable for me because I am confident that I can consistently exercise for 30 minutes per day up to five days per week.


You may need to start out with two days per week - and that is okay!

Start where you can.
