Snack Attack

Remember that bag of chips I just talked about? Yeah, the whole bag that you ate.

If there are any left in the house, throw them out & do not buy anymore!

Unless they are the baked, kettle brand, type of "healthier" chips. Those will be for your cheat days.


Healthy snacking does not have to be awful. Have you ever heard of the 80/20 rule?

Eat right 80% of the time and you will still succeed. Instead of eating candy, chips or cookies - switch them out for fruit and raw veggies. Find healthy choices that you enjoy eating. Pinterest has some great ideas. Go to our home page, click the Pinterest icon and it will take you right to the healthy snacking board. There has to be SOMETHING that you like on there!


Try to be cognitive of WHY you are eating. Are you eating because you are bored? Start replacing that habit with something else. Stretch instead of eating, drink a glass of water instead of snacking, go for a walk or call your grandmother for a good check in. Treat yourself to that unhealthy snack on your cheat day, it will make it that much sweeter.
